Running for: Recording Secretary

I am a 4th year in DMSE. I’ve been a steward in our union since summer 2024 and helped organize a supermajority of our department onto our designation change campaign, which won greater security for international workers and a pay bump for pre-qual PhD students. I’m now Department Chief Steward and have been working with the rest of the DMSE stewards to organize a series of department meetings, educating workers about our contract protections and key issues in our upcoming contract fight. I’m running for Recording Secretary on the BOLD slate because I believe we have the power to take on tough fights when we provide a way for every graduate worker on campus to meaningfully engage in our union. I am committed to keeping members informed through regular, timely bargaining updates, I’m excited to build a strong 2026 contract, and I’m ready to put in the legwork to make it happen.
