Running for: At-Large Delegate

I’m a 1st year PhD student in the Chemistry Department and a new member of the Graduate Student Union. I’m running for Delegate at Large on the BOLD slate because, as a fellow, I believe that fellows’ inclusion is essential to a strong and united union—every graduate worker deserves the same protections, voice, and respect, regardless of funding source. I’m especially passionate about securing academic just cause protections and stronger safeguards for international workers, whose status too often leaves them vulnerable to unfair treatment. In this upcoming contract fight, I’m excited to organize alongside my peers to win a contract that truly reflects the needs of our entire community: fair pay, equitable conditions, and genuine power in our workplaces. Together, we can make MIT a place where every graduate worker can thrive.
