Running for: President

I’m a 4th year fellow in DMSE researching polymer sustainability, and I served as our union’s president this past year. I also organized during our first contract fight and was an Area Chief Steward on the first executive board. I hope to bring my three years of experience into our second round of negotiations to win the strongest contract possible. I’m excited to run for re-election with BOLD because I’m committed to organizing at the scale necessary to win on the biggest issues facing graduate workers. That means building our union at every step of the contract fight with the mass participation of graduate workers, up to and including a strike if necessary. In a time where our research and education are coming under attack, we can still come together to call on MIT to prioritize, in writing, all the graduate workers who make the Institute run, from international workers to fellows.
