Running for: Vice President for Membership

I am a 5th year in DMSE and PPSM, creating new materials for reproductive health applications. I have been organizing for 4 years and since our first contract fight. After winning our first contract, I served as Department Chief Steward for DMSE, then Area Chief Steward, and now as Vice President. As DCS, I organized our first Labor Week BBQ and as VP continued it as a yearly tradition of energizing hundreds of new first years at orientation. As ACS I helped organize the DMSE designation change campaign that led to increased pay for pre-qual workers, and have learned that a strong campaign is won through collective action. I am excited to run with BOLD to continue winning on important issues like academic protections and building up our membership through driving the fellows campaign in this next contract fight and continue the legacy of a powerful winning union!!
