Running for: Area Chief Steward, SoE & CoC

I’m a 4th-year PhD candidate and fellow in MechE, where I develop methods for sustainable product design! I started organizing in my department a year and a half ago. This semester, I’ve been serving as a MechE Department Chief Steward and recently joined the Membership Committee. I’ve loved organizing town halls and events in my department, and I continually strive to incorporate feedback from our MechE community to improve our steward outreach strategies. I would be thrilled to serve as an Area Chief Steward for the School of Engineering and aim to build bonds and bridges in multiple departments as well as high participation in our contract fight. In the face of increasing adversity and pressure from both MIT and the Trump administration, our BOLD slate champions the strength of our diverse graduate community. I am confident BOLD will do everything in our power to advocate for the rights and well-being of all graduate workers in our upcoming contract fight.
